So I came across this interview with guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, who was asked about his “philosophy of life”. He said, “In my mid-thirties, I suddenly said one day - I don’t remember the moment, but it just seemed to happen, that I said; I’m very comfortable with who I am, and what I do and I believe this is what I’m meant to be doing. And I’m not going to worry about trying to be better than this guy or as good as that guy or blah, blah, blah…I’m just going to be me and just let it happen.”

Watch the attached video…do you think he has succeeded? I can tell you now that I’ve adopted the same philosophy regarding my art, design & music - “I’m just going to be me and just let it happen.”
